She was predeceased by: her husband Laverne; her parents, Stanley Klein and Albertha Klein; her son-in-law Jim Wabeke; her parents-in-law, Bert and Winnie Van Klompenberg; her siblings, Jerome Klein, Stanley Klein Jr., Henry Klein and Rachel Klein Schrotenboer (Lloyd); and her siblings-in-law, Michael De Pree, Verna Elzinga and Robert Achterhof.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lyle, Barbara Van Klompenberg, Korde Van Klompenberg, Keith, Sarah Van Klompenberg, Kris, Taylor Van Klompenberg, Susan Wabeke, Nicholas, Sherri Wabeke, Todd Wabeke, Kyle, Joanna Wabeke, Cindy Poest, Kevin Poest, Henry Poest, Gary, Nicole Poest, Sally, Jeffery Koert, Jason, Tina Koert, Justin, Mindy Koert, Casie, Benjamin Woiwode, Isaac, Kayla Koert, Bounleth and Sury Norinh; her siblings, Earl, Margie Klein and Sandra De Pree; and her siblings-in-law, Allen Elzinga and Bonnie Achterhof. She is also survived by 37 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Street Christian Reformed Church (20 E Main Ave, Zeeland, MI 49464). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to The Bridge Youth Center or Corewell Health Hospice.
