She was predeceased by: her sister Hazel Van KlompenBerg. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Snyder; her sons, Mark (Priscilla Snyder), Scott Snyder and Joel (Dana Snyder); her grandchildren, Travis Snyder, Jeremiah Snyder, Jonathan Snyder, Logan, Amber Snyder, Aaron, Kaitlin Snyder, Savannah Snyder, Dustin Snyder, Jacob Leazier, Jennifer and John Gamble; her brother Robert Van KlompenBerg; and her brother-in-law John (Bev Snyder). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Shirley's honor may be given to Hospice of Holland.
