He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella and Ben; his stepmother Dorothy; his parents-in-law, LaVerne Kortering and Leona Kortering; and his siblings-in-law, Austin Meiste and Francine Schrotenboer.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his son Brent; his daughter-in-law Michele of San Diego, California; his son Ryan (Hillary Heinze) of East Lansing; his brothers, Burnell and Ed; his sister-in-law Celia; his sister Nancy; his brother-in-law Walt; his sister Kathy; his brother-in-law Bob; his brother Scott; his sister-in-law Julie; his stepsister Judy Elenbaas; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy (Harold Lampen), Ken Kortering (Nancy) and Kevin Kortering (Penny).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ridge Point Community Church (340 104th Ave, Holland, MI 49423). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
