It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Winnie Machiela of Zeeland, Michigan, born in Inwood, Iowa, who passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Willemsen and Jennie Willemsen; and her husband Delbert Machiela. She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Juliana De Young and Elmer Hoffman; her foster sons, Darby, Shelly Kilber, Allen and Malissa Kilber; her stepchildren, Bob, Sue Machiela, Duane, Susan Machiela, John, Linda Machiela, Andy and Camie Machiela; Pauline Dyke, Lorraine Wierenga, Chester, Caroline Machiela, Marilyn Wassink, Roger and Helene Machiela. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
