He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Slininger and Lorraine Slininger (Benesh); his wife Lorraine "Granny" Slininger; his daughter Angie Boisjolie; and his sisters, Ardell Wold, Beverly Jacobson and Eunice Slininger.
He is survived by: his children, Robert (Melanie) of Blaine, MN, Tammy Schmidt (Mike) of Moorhead, MN and Wanda Terry (Bob) of West Fargo, ND; his son-in-law Jim Boisjolie of Ashby, MN.; his sister Carol Sturdevant (Loren) of Glenrock, WY; his brothers-in-law, Leo Jacobson (Marcy) of Park Rapids, MN, Larry Wold of Felton, MN and Bob Miller (Gina) of Ada, MN; his grandchildren, Hailey Thornton (Andrew Miller), Casie Johnson (Bryce), Paige Schmidt (Kaylynn Noyd), Bellamy, Violet Slininger, Parker and Oliver Terry; and his great grandchildren, Kenzie, Finley and Maverick Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Honor Flight ND/MN, Sanford Hospice, or a local hospice organization.
