He was predeceased by : his parents, Orlin Nordby and Francis Nordby of Ada; his sister Ester Petry of New York; his niece Nancy Petry of Connecticut; his uncle Bennie; his aunt Doris Schmidt of Ada; and his grandfather Otto Nordby of Ada.
He is survived by : his sons, Jeremy Nordby (Diana) of Bartlett, TN and Jason Nordby; his grandchildren, Alex Nordby, Chris Nordby (Jeremy), J. R. Nordby and Jacob Nordby (Jason); his brother Roger Nordby; his aunt Nola Gunderson of Fargo, ND; his nieces and nephews, Sherry Longley (Pat) of Cambridge, MN, Lori Kenison of Cambridge, MN, Jeff Petry (Linda) of North Carolina, Mark Petry (Amber) of Washington, DC and Eric Petry (Krista) of New York; and his former life partner Ronni Nordby of Crookston, MN.
