He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Roquet and Lena Roquet (Braunschweig); his wife Avenelle Hitner; his stepchildren, Eugene Hitner and Rita Smith; and his siblings, Walter, Merlin, William, Harold, Wayne, Marion and Mary Ann Vistad.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Nanci Schmidt of Ada, MN and Pam Roquet (Mike) of Ada, MN; and his brother Earl (Connie) of Wahpeton, ND. He is also survived by 12 step-grandchildren, many step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (110 3rd Ave E, Ada, MN 56510). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
