He was predeceased by: his wife Francisca; his parents, Servando Ruiz and Andrea Ruiz (Aguilar); his brothers, David Ruiz, Selso Ruiz and Juan Ruiz; and his grandsons, Marcos Parisien and Pedro Ruiz, III.
He is survived by: his children, Pedro Ruiz, Jr. of Derby, TX, Cynthia Ruiz of Gary, MN, Alberto Ruiz of Laredo, TX, Lisa Primeau of West Fargo, ND, Sam Ruiz of Moorhead, MN, Gustavo Ruiz of Fargo, ND, Paulita Ruiz of Fargo, ND and Claudia Ruiz of Fargo, ND; and his siblings, Lupe of Texas, Rosa of Texas, Maria of Texas, Hector Ruiz of Chicago, IL, Mario Ruiz of San Antonio, TX and Jose Ruiz of Crystal City, TX. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
