She was predeceased by : her parents, Mathias Merten and Adeline Merten; and her brother Duane Merten (Louise) of Adams. She is survived by : her husband Jerome; her children, Dennis Gerber (Elaine) of Austin, Diane Inman (Dana) of Rochester, Gary Gerber (Jan) of Rochester and Brian Gerber of Leroy; and her siblings, Eugene Merten (Joyce) of Adams, Herbert Merten (Charlene) of Taopi, Mary Ann Mueller (Delphin) of Austin, Elaine Schemmel (Ron) of Savage and Eileen Berg (Ervin) of Rochester. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
