She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Myhre and Melba Myhre (Sampson); her husband Donald Merten (Donnie); her brothers, Ted Myhre and Roger Myhre; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Blake, Beatrice, Francis Healy, Clarence, Catherine Merten, Kenneth Merten, Ronald Merten, Norvard Nalan, Larry and Gladys White.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Merten (Sheri) of Austin, MN, Sherri Berg (Barry) of Remer, MN and Scott Merten (Michele) of Adams, MN; her grandchildren, Katie Huinker (Aaron), Mikaela Feuerhak (Tyler), Michael Merten, Brandon Berg, Miranda Wenthold (Keyser) and Madeline Merten (Daniel Boe); her great grandchildren, Olivia Huinker, Kaitlyn, Levi and Wyatt Feuerhak; her siblings, Marva Blake, Richard Myhre (Barb) and Gary Myhre (Cyndi); and her siblings-in-law, Harold Merten (Judy), Carol Merten and Barbara Nalan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
