He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Sue Rasmussen Hering; his parents, Helen Hering and William Hering; and his sister Jean Benoy. He is survived by: his children, Todd (Nicole), Andrew (Kristina) and Robin Stien (Matt); his grandchildren, Alli, Emily, Grant, Allie, Jake, Natalie and Samantha; his great grandchild Clayton; and his siblings, Carrie Carlberg (John) and Larry Hering (Anita).
