He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Carlson and Helena Carlson (Swenson); and his brother Mervin. He is survived by : his wife Naida Jean Carlson of Willmar; his children, Steven Carlson (Teri) of St. Louis Park, Patti Sauer (Joe) of Delano and Ann Bisek (Matt) of New London; his grandchildren, Tony and Katie Sauer; his children, Hannah, Madeline and Ty Bisek; his sister Marilyn Butenhoff of St. Joseph; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Barringer of Princeton and Carol Barringer of Foley. He is also survived by ses many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
