Mabel Kelling Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mabel Kelling in Aitkin, Minnesota, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mabel departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mabel. Though Mabel may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarendon Joseph (CJ) and Mabel Quinly (King). She is survived by: her former husband Gene Kelling; and her children, Calvin Kelling of Brainerd, Myrna Thrugstad of Pine River and Liz Harmon (Rob) of Aitkin. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
