He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie H. Lecy and Jensina Lecy (Akre); his former wife Marjorie Radtke; his wife Kathryn Tatro; and his son Dennis Lecy (Jimmie Lecy).
He is survived by: his partner Peg Davies of Akeley, MN; his children, Charlotte Negen (Galen) of Akeley, MN, Cindy Lecy of Akeley, MN and Danny Lecy (Betty) of Akeley, MN; his daughter-in-law Davonne Lecy of LaPorte, MN; and his grandchildren, Barry Negen, Byron Negen, Melinda Goehring, Jessica Lecy, Bodine Lecy, Denika Lecy and Jessi Johnson. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
