It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Willis Johnson of Akeley, Minnesota, born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Josephine Johnson (McGraw) and Russell Johnson; his grandparents, Clara and Willis Johnson; his great-aunt Carrie Schwab; his sons, Jeremiah and Robert W. Johnson; his son-in-law Jeremy Landt; and his brother Robert K. Johnson.

He is survived by : his former life partner Gloria Johnson of Akeley; his children, John Jenks of Little Falls, MN, Andrew Johnson (Lisa) of Akeley and Cherri Landt (Chad) of LaPorte, MN; his grandchildren, Rachael, Jamie, Justin, AJ Jenks, Kiana and Kayla Landt; his great grandchild Marley Jenks; and his family, Austin Huffman, Nels Kramer, Big Vic Eldridge, Greg "Gutts" Tufts, Doug Aird, Dick Brunner, Scott Ouren, Dallas Hudson, Ed Thue, Pete Rogers, Zita and Crew.
