She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Giese; her son Mitch Giese; her parents, Stanley Moritko and Harriet Moritko (Swistun); and her siblings, Lorraine Deminsky, Bud and Wally.
She is survived by: her children, Cori, Ted Giese (Kay) and Mark Giese (Steph); and her sisters, Pat Dolan (Mike), Dinah Bursey (Les) and Lou Stadsklev. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
