He was predeceased by : his parents, Elford Stern and Rosella Stern (Schwartz); his parents-in-law, Carl and Marcella Notermann; and his siblings-in-law, Marianne Vilendrer and Richard Notermann.
He is survived by : his wife Elaine Notermann; his sons, Bryan Stern of Chisago City, Sean Stern of Las Vegas, NV and Kyle Stern of Cold Spring; his siblings, Sandy Dickinson (Dave) of Sturgeon Lake and Gary Stern (Sandy); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Notermann (Sherri) of Hutchinson, David Notermann of Mound, Suzanne Howley (Chuck) of Montgomery, Gary Notermann of Savage, Alan Notermann (Joanna), Rita MacDonald (Scott) of Ramsey, Cathy Lindberg (Kirk) of Shakopee and Jim Vilendrer (Carol). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
