He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Kleve and Dolores Kleve (Hoppe); his siblings, Joyce Middendorf and Delroy Kleve; his brothers-in-law, Tommy Mauritz and David Elfering; and his parents-in-law, Hubert and Agatha Zierden.
He is survived by : his wife Lou Ann Kleve of Albany; his children, Craig Kleve (Faith Thomas) of Albany, Kristie Kleve, Stephanie Thompson (Trevor) of Sauk Centre and Ann Welle (Nathan) of Sauk Centre; his grandchildren, Parker Bendel, Jett Kleve, Emily, Ellie Wojtanowitz, Gage and Drake Welle; his stepgrandsons, Garrett (Alicia), Gabriel (Maylin) and Grant Thompson (Kelsey); his stepgreat-granddaughter Gretta Thompson; his sisters, Jan Braegelmann (Donnie) of Albany, Denise Kleve (Jon Hedtke) of Regal and Lilah Stellmach (Ron) of Foley; his siblings-in-law, Julie Kleve of Albany and Lornie Middendorf; and also Paul Bendel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
