He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hamann and Johanna Hamann (Lemke); his wife Deloris Jean Hamann; his siblings-in-law, Larry Oeltjenbruns, Arnie Fauk and Carol Eickhoff; and his niece Angie Oeltjenbruns.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Hamann (Alice) of Albany, Kim Pelzer (Steve) of Albany and Jason Hamann (Jill) of Albany; his sister Ruth Fauk of Albany; his nieces, Becky and Robbie; his nephew Paul; Jeffrey Hamann, Justin Hamann, Jacob Hamann, Jenna Hamann, Johanna Hamann, Ashley Platz, Joshua Pelzer, Brittany Pelzer and Kaylee Hamann. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
