He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gerads and Rose Gerads (Althaus); and his sisters, Carol Finken, Ruth Linn and Jane Gerads.
He is survived by: his wife Aggie Gerads of Albany; his children, Connie Fournelle (Chris) of Billerica, Barb Fischer (Dave) of Albany, Tom Gerads (Amy) of St. Joseph, Russ Gerads (Amanda) of Buffalo and Rachel Melendez (Joe) of San Francisco, California; his grandchildren, Kellan, Tyler (Jaclyn), Justin (Allie), Natalie (Riley), Kaylin, Cooper, Jackson, Brynn, Ella, Addilyn, Layla and Ryder; his sister JoAnn Heinen of Ramsey; and his brother-in-law Fred Linn of St. Anthony.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Anthony Catholic Church (24326 Trobec St, Albany, MN 56307). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Eagles Healing Nest in Sauk Centre.
