He was predeceased by: his mother Marlene Ruegemer (Meyer); and his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Goldie Miland. He is survived by: his father Virgil Ruegemer; his wife Tami Ruegemer; his children, Kenny, Nick and Jessica; his siblings, Robert Ruegemer, Cindy Yotter (Barry) and Tammy Ruegemer; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Gamradt (Gwen), John Gamradt, Lynne Merten (BJ), Randy Miland (Lynn), Bob Miland (Sandee), David Miland (Randy Ritterman), Kathy Williams, Kim Miland and Byron Miland (Jody). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (316 Maple St S, Sauk Centre, MN 56378). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
