He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Heel and Irene Van Heel (Feld); and his brother-in-law Dan Wielenberg. He is survived by: his daughter Stacy Van Heel (Kyle Funk) of New Munich; his grandchildren, Austin and Alexis Funk; and his siblings, Gary Van Heel of Albany, Wayne Van Heel of Albany, Linda Kurtz (John) of Avon, Carol Reisdorf (Dan) of St. Joseph, Sandy Wielenberg of Albany, Mary Zenner (Jeff) of Albany, Charlene Gerads (Bruce) of Holdingford and Patsy Birr (Jason) of Alexandria. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
