He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wittkop and Dorothy Wittkop (Zimmermann); and his daughter Becky Wittkop. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Brian of Eau Claire, WI, Sharon Dorr (Mitch) of St. Joseph, MN, Scott of Albany, MN, Brenda Frieler (Todd) of Sartell, MN and Bonnie Jordan (Izaak) of Weehawken, NJ; his grandchildren, Adam Dorr, Jacob Dorr, Paul Dorr, Rachel Dorr, Sam Frieler, Levi Frieler and Sydney Frieler; and his sister Betty Meyer of Avon. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Anthony Church (24326 Trobec St, Albany, MN 56307).
