We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2024, at the age of 84, Betty Ellertson (Albert Lea, Minnesota), born in Baudette, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Howdahl and Gertrude Howdahl (Witt). She is survived by : her husband Darrell; her children, Kim Ellertson (Uwe Staerk), Scott Ellertson (Jody) and Diane Knopik (Brad Copeland); her grandchildren, Jocelynn, Brandon, Trevor, Cory, Ashley, Alex, Lacey, Shaina and Kate; her brothers, George and Jack; her in-laws, Ken, Cindy Lamping, Dennis and Marsha Ellertson; her pets, Smokey and Cinnamon; her grandson Derek Abrego; her son-in-law Jarod Knopik; and her siblings, Harold, Carl, Earl and Gladys. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
