He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Bestul and Donna Bestul (Rockvan); his in-laws, Helen and Louis Reitschlager; and his brother-in-law Donnie Pangburn.

He is survived by: Nigel, Lindsay Millard, Grayson Pangburn of St. Paul, MN, Paige, Kevin McClure of Northwood, IA, Peyton Pangburn of Cedar Rapids, IA, Zach and Katie Moore.
