She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Troe and Carolyn Troe (Flanagan); her husband Roger Duane Olson; her daughter Kim Goddard; and her siblings, Ed and Mel Troe.
She is survived by: her son Greg Olson (Kim); her grandchildren, Matt Olson (Calli), Cassy Olson, Ashley Olson, Zach Olson (Jordan) and Derek Olson; and her great grandchildren, Lyla, Emma, Joelle, Tatum, Isabelle, Parker and Kennedy Olson.
Memorial donations can be made in Carol's name and memory to the Kim M. Goddard Scholarship or Peace and Power by way of First Lutheran Church of Albert Lea.
