We bid farewell to Darcy Nielsen (Albert Lea, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 12, 2025 at the age of 54. Darcy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Cyle Urschitz; her grandparents, Rudy, Flossie Urschitz, Fred and Shirley Michaelis; her mother-in-law Pauline Nielsen; her aunts, Ella and Gladys; her cousin Tom Aldrich; and her nephew Steven Nielsen.
She is survived by: her mother Harriet Urschitz; her husband Lowell Nielsen; her brother Dan Urschitz (Emily); her nieces, Jazmyne Hanson and Abby Urschitz; her children, Zach Rice (Angela), Ty Nielsen, Tasha (Andy), Tiffany (Josh) and Tabitha (Justin); her grandchildren, Braden, Reed, Bruin and Juniper; her pets, Emma and Casper; her father-in-law Bob Nielsen (Becki); and her brothers-in-law, Randy (Linda), Robbie (Laura), Paul Nielsen (Heather) and Whitney Nielsen. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (501 S Washington Ave, Albert Lea, MN 56007).
