He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon W. Smith and Evelyn Langfald Smith; his former wife Susan Sweazy Smith; and his brother Vance Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Roxann Crane, Pam O'Leary, Gregory Smith, Valerie Rogers, Doug Smith and Loraine Cole; and his wife Sue Sweazy.
