He is survived by: his sisters, Jeannie Boyer of Albert Lea, MN and Carolyn Kjarland (Arlan) of Stewartville, MN.; his brother-in-law Larry Rygh of Albert Lea, MN; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Keefe (Paul), Mary Boyer (Devon), Wayne Stinehart, Jason Kjarland, Julie Stuart (Dan), Carrie Simpson (Jeff), Kelly Kjarland, Michael Stinehart (Agnus), Laura Kjarland, Samantha Kjarland, Gerald Shaffer, Walter Shaffer, Cory Shaffer, Derek Rygh (Jenna), April Rygh and Christopher Rygh; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mason, Taya, Myah, Thea Keefe, Isaac, Noah Olvera, Kenny, Marissa, Mykayla, Summer, Dominic, Jeannie Stinehart, Abby, Kimberly, Gracelynn Stinehart, Karrah, Kaitlyn, Kaydence, Kendrick Rygh, Ezra, Elias Rygh, Ryker Shaffer, Brandi Stinehart, Piper, Stella Boyer, Inga and Asah Kjarland; his sisters, Judith Nelson, Linda Radke (Jim) and Connie Rygh; and his brother-in-law Lyle Boyer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (918 Garfield Ave, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
