She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton "Tony" C. Renchin and Agnes M. Renchin (Styndl); her husband Bob; her children, Gary Christian and Gayle Lyon Sydall (Doug); her son-in-law James Ballard; her great grandchild Aric Ballard; her siblings, Donald Renchin (MaryAlice), Carol Becker, Sr. (David) and Robert "Red" Renchin; her siblings-in-law, Judy Renchin, Maynard King and Shirley Nelson (Wes); and her friends, Bob and Rosemary Graham.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Christian (Diane) of Westminster, CO, Diane Ballard-Gilby (Lynn) of Brackettville, TX and Darlene Christian Garduno of Hayward, MN; her daughter-in-law Linda Christian of Albert Lea, MN; her grandchildren, Tim Ballard (Debbie), Jessica Decker (Chris), Sean Chase, Sr., Joshua Ballard (Shelly), Jeremiah Ballard (Amanda), Kevin Christian, Jamie Becker, Jonathon Christian (Danielle), Dustin Garduno (Ami), Miranda Wiechmann (Garduno) (Drew), Meaghan Cazares-Gonzalez (Juan), Jacob Christian, Hunter Gilby (Garduno) (Sarah) and McKenzie Gilby (Garduno); her sister Bernice King of Cambridge, WI; and her sister-in-law Kate Renchin of Wellington, FL. She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hayward Lutheran Church (200 Main St, Hayward, MN 56043).
