It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Thomas Hafstad (Albert Lea, Minnesota), who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Gary Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary Thomas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf T. Hafstad and Marcia C. Hafstad (Lindgren). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hafstad; his sister Mari K. Hafstad; his children, Emily Peterson (Brian), Alison Witter (Josh) and Philip Hafstad; and his grandchildren, Natalie Peterson, Nick Peterson, Alaina Peterson and Thomas Witter. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
