He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wichmann and Lorraine Wichmann (Stiehl); his stepmother Laurene Farland (Rasmussen); his parents-in-law, LaVonne and Dick Childs; his stepfather-in-law Jim Overby; his aunt Muriel (Gries); his uncle Walt Wichmann; his brother-in-law Don Pressnall; and his stepsiblings, Larry Rasmussen (LaVonne) and Kathy Kuethe.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda (Childs); his children, Jeffrey and Diana (Heath Reindal); his granddaughters, Lilah and Charlotte Reindal; his siblings, Paul (Marilyn), Mary, Loren (Janet), Allan (Cindy) and Jean Wichmann; his aunt Verle Wichmann; his sisters-in-law, Vanda Pressnall and Suzanne Childs; and his stepsiblings, Luverne (Kay), Carl (Paulette), Barb Rasmussen (Ken), Roger Overby (Lisa) and Diane Roeper (Charles). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials may be given to Albert Lea Youth for Christ or Bear Lake Cemetery Association.
