He was predeceased by : his father Winston Hamersly. He is survived by : his mother Marjory Hamersly (Luett); his wife Peggy Hamersly; his children, Emily Boren (Jesse) and James Hamersly (Roxy Larson); his grandchildren, Ayden and Ethan Boren; his sister Carla Johnson (Leland); and his pet Mya.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bayview Funeral Home (1415 State Hwy 13, Albert Lea, MN 56007).
