We announce the death of LaVonne R. Olson of Albert Lea, Minnesota, who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 92. LaVonne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Bakken and Rose Bakken (Ellingson); her husband Myron Bergene Olson; her daughter Karen; her granddaughter Mackenzie; her daughter-in-law Chris Olson; her siblings, Ardel Dahling (Chuck) and Virgil Bakken; her in-laws, Adolph and Ruby Olson; and her brother Orvis Olson (Beverly).
She is survived by: her children, Danny Olson of Kiester, Ricky Olson (Lori) of Albert Lea, MN and Susan Hagen of Bismarck, ND; and her sister Ruth Jeno (Jerry). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Nasinec Funeral Home (789 Business Park Dr, Wells, MN 56097). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
