She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Evenson and Ella Evenson (Sunde); her husband Richard Wasmoen; her siblings, Stuart Evenson (Dorothy), Oswald Evenson (Marjorie), Margaret Ellis (George), Helen Mork (Alvin) and Lenore Johnson (Robert); and her great grandchild Ella Ahlgren (Wasmoen).
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Ahlgren (Roger), Brian Wasmoen and Alan Wasmoen (Terri); her grandchildren, Jeremy Ahlgren (Angie), Darren Ahlgren, Brett Ahlgren (Elisa Vicuña), Judd Wasmoen, Jardy Wasmoen, Lara Wasmoen and Reid Wasmoen; and her great grandchildren, Gabby, Annaleise, Theodore and Oscar. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (301 W Clark St, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the LeSueur River Lutheran Cemetery (16650 250th Ave, New Richland, MN 56072).
Memorials are preferred to : Peace and Power at First Lutheran Church or the LeSueur River Lutheran Cemetery fund.
