We bid farewell to Marilyn Joy Ochs (Albert Lea, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 23, 2025 at the age of 90. Marilyn Joy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fernley Josephson and Marion Josephson (Larsen); her sister Sharon Klitzke; her grandparents, Clarice, Thomas Larson, George and Estelle Josephson; and her siblings-in-law, Clayton, Keith, Gerald, Richard, Thomas, Arnold Klitzke, Norma Bue, Marion Houge and Crystal Ebeling.
She is survived by: her husband David Ochs; her daughters, Kim Strating (Jerry), Jody Ochs and Deb Ochs; her sister Terry Briggs (Gordy); her sister-in-law Gayle Olson; and her grandchildren, Brianne Michelau (John), Garrett Strating (Cami), Kyle Strating (Joslyn), Molly Kuper (Mitch), Chris Berg (Jennifer), Jennifer Pittman (Ryan) and David Olszowka. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bonnerup Funeral Service - Albert Lea (2210 E Main St, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery (1800 W Main St, Albert Lea, MN 56007).
