She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Olson and Emma Olson; her husband Rodger Pirsig; and her siblings, Mario, Arnold, Robert, Martha and Genevieve.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Holmstrom of Peoria, IL, Brad Pirsig (Deb) of Albert Lea and Scott Pirsig (Shari) of Albert Lea; and her grandchildren, Amanda Holmstrom (Brad) of Mason, MI, Chad Holmstrom (Joey) of Bloomington, IL, Seth Holmstrom of Abergavenny, Nick Pirsig (Tammy) of Albert Lea, Tim Pirsig (Stephanie), Casey Pirsig (Meg) of Stillwater, MN, Ross Pirsig (Rocío) of Málaga and Callen Pirsig (Courtney) of Cottage Grove, MN. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bayview Funeral Home (1415 State Hwy 13, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery (1800 W Main St, Albert Lea, MN 56007).
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Croix Hospice and Thorne Crest Senior Living for the wonderful care they provided Mary.
