She is survived by: her children, Edward Renchin, Marie Hayner (Mark), Thomas Renchin, Patrick Renchin, Susan Amundson (Alan), Janice Stensrude (Roy) and James Renchin (Kristie); her grandchildren, Derek Jensen (Katie), Karina Kunze (Josh), Alex Amundson, Aaron Amundson (Kirsten), Taylor Stensrude, Trinity Olson (Kenny), Rebecca Ruter (Chris), Jacob Saatmann (Rebekah) and Rachel Saatmann; her siblings, Virginia Hanson (John), Bernadette Jensen, Leonard Matejcek (Mary Lou), Raymond Matejcek (Jean), Joseph Matejcek, Cecilia Lauer and Robert Matejcek; her parents-in-law, Anton and Agnes Renchin; and her brother-in-law Curt Jensen.
In fact, her pickles would go for a pretty penny during local charity auctions. Mary loved to help others, whether it was with her baking, donating her famous jars of pickles, or a couple dozen of her kolaches.
