He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Bedney and Florence Bedney; his sister Evelyn; and his son Mark. He is survived by: his sisters, Florence and Fay Stevens of Albert Lea, MN.; his wife Barbara Burdine; his son Jeff Stevens (Connie) of Mankato, MN; his daughter-in-law Sherri Stevens of St. Paul Park, MN; his grandsons, Codey Wadding and Michael Stevens; and his sisters, Audrey Hill, Harriet Volding (Gary) and Bonnie Nelson (Warren).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Eagles Club of Albert Lea (205 W William St, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A prayer will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hosanna Church (105 Hosanna Dr, Mankato, MN 56001). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at the Minneopa Cemetery (21075 County Rd 117, Mankato, MN 56001).
