He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer "Pete" Holtan and Amy Holtan (Kruger); and his parents-in-law, Tom and Dorothy Jacobson. He is survived by: his wife Pat Jacobson; his daughters, Shannon Ostrowski and Amy Wangen (Wayd); his grandchildren, Mya Wangen, Haley Wangen, Parker Wangen and Josh Ostrowski; his brother Rick Holtan (Lori); his sister-in-law Cindy Jacobson Peters (Brian); his nephews, Andrew Holtan, Jake Peters (Seth) and Ben Peters (Erin); and his great-nephew Graham Peters.
