He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Nelette (Lee) and Morris Linde; and his siblings, Marlene Roberts, Betty Lowe, Lee "Butch" Linde and Gene Linde.
He is survived by: his wife Merilynn "Mimi" Linde; his brother Gerry Linde (Vicki); his niece Melanie; his sons, Scott Linde (Barbi) and Jeff Linde (Lori); his stepdaughters, Amy Snow and Laurie Abbe (Rob); and his grandchildren, Ethan Abbe, Emily Abbe, Ted Linde, Roxi Linde, Tiffani Linde, Payton Linde, Danica Linde, Maddi Linde and Alexis Pestorious.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home (1415 State Hwy 13, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
