He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Sawyer and Hilda Sawyer; his parents-in-law, LaVon and Lester Benner; and his siblings, Marilyn, Kathleen and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Kay of Mary's Catholic Church; his daughters, Cindy (Ed Fosenburg), Debbie (Greg Luscombe) and Diane Moore (Pete); his grandchildren, Nathan Grausam (Shanelle) and Sarah Grausam; his great grandchild Aidan Steffen; his sister Suzanne Wilker; his siblings-in-law, Georgia Enderson, Shelia McNallan (Dan), Marie Hockert (Terry), John Benner, Jake Alt, Duane Enderson, Chuck Benner, Bill Benner and Brian Benner; his nephews, Damien Schaub, Todd Benner and Brad Benner; and his niece Tammy Benner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Ulstad Alano Society Group.
