He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Duane, Delores Eggert, Frank and Dolores Hynes. He is survived by: his parents, Lance Eggert and Mary Eggert (Hynes); his sister Carly Engel (Jake); his nephews, Brendan and Ezekiel; his niece Ava; his siblings, Kayleen Eggert, Perry Eggert, Louise Eggert and Laura Zachman (Brandon); his nieces, Bella and Lily; and his nephew Waylon. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Saint Michael Catholic Church (11300 Frankfort Pkwy NE, St Michael, MN 55376). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Michael's name are preferred to the Epilepsy Foundation.
