He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Tyson and Shirley Tyson (Wood); his wife LuAnn Tyson; and his brother Dennis Tyson. He is survived by: his children, Melaina Nadeau and Tony Schreiner; his grandchildren, Tanner Schreiner, Emily Schreiner, Alex Nadeau, Sidney Schreiner (Mason Jensen), Jackson Nadeau and Jada Schreiner; his great grandchild Eden Schreiner; his siblings, Marion Bell, Wendy Le Swenson, Christine Rubio, Richard Tyson (Kim), William Tyson (Cindy) and James Tyson (Kelley); and his sister-in-law Gail Tiedeken (Mike). He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Westbridge Community Church (11600 Frankfort Pkwy NE, St Michael, MN 55376). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
