He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alvin, Ruth Johnson, Alfred and Jerome (Marjorie Rebischke); his grandmother-in-law Vernon Rigge; his brother-in-law Mike Betker; and his nephew Bruce Betker.
He is survived by: his parents, Richard Johnson and Ellen "Roxie" Johnson (Morelli); his wife Kristine (Kohn) of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Morgan Page, Nicholas, Noah, Lacey and Lindsey; his parents-in-law, Robin and Susan Kohn; his siblings, Tonya Rohling (Chris), Travis (Dani), Tara Petter (Tom), Laura Betker and April Zea (Dilque); and his grandfather-in-law Anita Rigge. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many extended family members, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (302 2nd St NE, Buffalo, MN 55313). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
