It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene M Bakken of Alexandria, Minnesota, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jens Jenson and Minnie Jenson (Knutson); her husband Al Bakken; her son Jerry Bakken; her stepmother Katherine "Kate" Jenson; her siblings, Victoria Mikkelson (Clinton) and Ernest Jenson (Erva); and her stepsisters, Marie Walter (Victor) and Margie Aurzada (Jim).
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Bakken (Barb) and John Bakken (Kathy); her daughter-in-law Karen Bakken; and her sister Bev Asmus. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wahpeton Senior Center.
