She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Person and Matilda Person; her husband Lloyd Olson of Farwell; her children, Debra Kay Olson and David Lloyd Olson; her son-in-law Roger Carnes; her siblings, Ordella Person, Clayton Person (Rudella), Marvel (Joe Moen), Shirley Neumann (Mike), Donald Person Sr. and Betty Gunness; Clifford Olson (Mae), Evey Thompson (Warren), Al Olson (Phronie) and Donny Olson (Joanne).
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Olson and Patricia Olson (Steve); her daughter-in-law Patti Olson; her grandchildren, Shane Olson, Stacey Olson, Alex Carnes, Erik Olaphson (Savannah) and Aubrey Olson; her great grandchildren, Briana, Gavin Olson and Viggo Olaphson; and her siblings-in-law, Arnie Gunness and Arlene Person. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oscar Lake Lutheran Church (14619 Church Rd SW, Farwell, MN 56327). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. She was incredibly strong both physically and mentally – beating both Covid and Pneumonia several times.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
