Barbara Ann Brower Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Brower of Alexandria, Minnesota, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Maurice Johnson; and her father-in-law Richard Brower. She is survived by: her mother JoAnn Johnson (Burnson) of Glenwood; her husband Rick Brower; her children, Amy Zenner (Eric) of Alexandria, Melissa Brower of Belgrade, Becky Melton (Chad) of Rosemount and Michael Brower (Lindsey) of Belgrade; her grandchildren, Greta, Leah, Jada, Hunter, Paige, Maxwell, Sawyer, Spencer, Sheila, Rae, Monica and Devin; her great grandchildren, Arthur and Nora; her mother-in-law Katheleen Brower of Willmar; and her brothers, Dave Johnson (Robin) of South Carolina, Gary Johnson (Jeri) of Glenwood and Bryan Johnson (Amy) of Glenwood. She is also survived by sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; along with cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lind Family Funeral Home (1623 10th Ave E, Alexandria, MN 56308). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Bethany Cemetery (48837 South St, Brooten, MN 56316). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Alexandria Covenant Church (4005 Dakota St, Alexandria, MN 56308).
