She was predeceased by: her father Orville Schmidt. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Schmidt of Perham; her husband David Rivers; her children, Julie Kuehn (Doug) of Eagan and Scott Rivers (Shannon) of Milaca; and her grandchildren, John Rivers, Caiden Kuehn, Michael Rivers, Ailey Kuehn, Donovan Kelly and Torrey Hook. She is also survived by seven sisters and two brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the National MS Society: Upper Midwest Chapter.
