He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Aspelin and Lila Aspelin (Ricketts); and his brothers, Arnold, Jerry and Kent.
He is survived by: his son Nate; his grandchildren, Nolan, Aubrey, Hope and Caleb; his sister Jean Wendland; his sister-in-law Joan Aspelin; his stepson Chad Cooper (Elizabeth); and his stepgrandchildren, Matthew and Grace. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
